Business Development Manager

Position Summary:
This is a full time position that requires a combination of strong technical and business development skills. Responsible for developing his/her knowledge of ExcelAsia and our capabilities as well as competitors' service solutions and works with other corporate personnel to develop sales plans. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and a creative team player with a track record of successful business development and sales.

Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Must have strong offshore consulting sales experience.
  • Develop and execute growth plans through customer relations and teaming opportunities
  • Promotes and sells ExcelAsia’s services and solutions through direct existing and new customer contacts
  • Schedules sales calls and visits clients to identify new opportunities, discuss solutions while presenting ExcelAsia’s as the solution architect to secure new business
  • Works closely with Program/Project Managers to aggressively pursue and close contract renewals
  • Establishes trust, rapport and creditability with client senior leadership and operation managers
  • Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of the company
  • Conducts weekly sales meetings with potential and current customers in pursuit of new business
  • Manages relationships with existing accounts while working closely with the corporate executive staff to identify additional strategic projects
  • A single point of contact for dissemination and clarification of all corporate policies
  • Reads Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Statement of Work (SOW) and other documentation to ensure full understanding of contract requirements, Assist in the writing, design and development of proposals
  • Responsive to the leadership of the corporation
  • Meets or exceeds required and identified quota targets
  • Exhibits behavior consistent with the vision and values communicated by the corporation
  • Knowledgeable of and supports the overall concept associated with the Company’s and specific Business Unit’s Strategic Plan
Education/Experience Requirements:
  •  Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or, Business. An MBA will be a plus.
  • 5-8 years of service sales experience
Skills and Experience Required:
  • IT Service or Product Sales
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to recognize and understand client’s needs quickly
  • Ability to master a large variety of solutions and applications
Must be able to travel as required or needed
